Originally from south Florida, Steve left the flatland shortly after receiving a B.A. from Florida State University and relocated to Squaw Valley California to (ski and) assist in the construction of a new luxury resort hotel called the Resort at Squaw Creek. Following construction completion, he moved inside, met his future wife, and began his hospitality management career. The hotel business requires regular relocation and after spending time managing at Squaw Creek, the Nikko Hotel in Chicago, and Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, Steve and his wife settled down in Steamboat Springs in 1998 to raise two children. He has been with Mountain Resorts since relocating to Steamboat Springs and has been president of the company since 2007. Still pursuing outdoor adventures as frequently as his schedule will allow, Steve is a long-time Rotarian and also volunteers as a board member on the Yampa Valley Airport Commission, the Mt. Werner Water Board of Directors, and the Urban Renewal Authority Committee.

Though she lived in Arkansas her entire life before moving to Steamboat Springs in 2016, Deanna has adopted Colorado as her home. Her gregarious nature has secured jobs that reflect her people-focused personality.
For ten years, Deanna worked at a hospital overseeing patient accounts and excelling in her role due to her ability to create relationships with patients that resulted in higher restitution rates. Hoping to invest in the lives of her children and the future, Deanna graduated with honors and started her teaching career in 2013.
Adventure trumps monotony, and when her family was presented with a chance to live and work in their favorite town in the United States, the family packed up and moved. Deanna started working in reservations at Resort Group in 2017, moved to Human Resources in 2018, was promoted to Director of Human Resources in 2020, and then to Vice President of Human Resources in 2021.
Deanna lives in Steamboat with her husband of 25 years, her two children, and Grizzy, her German Shepherd and constant companion. From the moment Larry arrived in Ski Town USA in 1984 he knew he had found the place to call home. Because Larry grew up moving every three years as the only son of an Air Force Officer, the desire to grow roots was manifest. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and Tourism from California State University, Chico he was attracted to Steamboat Springs by his interest in ski area development and the proposed (though ill-fated) Lake Catamount Ski Area. Larry's career in property management began that first year as a front desk agent and night auditor allowing him to pursue his passion for powder skiing. That love of skiing and the pride in his adopted home lead naturally to a desire to sell and service Steamboat ski vacations. After two years of leading Mountain Resorts' guest service operations Larry created the Groups Sales Manager position and travelled the country to attract clients and create strong bonds with travel agents and tour operators. Having successfully grown the group business segment Larry next accepted the responsibility of all sales and marketing efforts as Director before being promoted to Vice President in 2002. Larry was promoted again in 2004 to his current position of Vice President of Marketing for Mountain Resorts' parent company Resort Group. Larry is currently a member of the Executive Board of the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association and has served as Chairman of the Steamboat Springs Lodging Association for the past five years. When not dreaming of skiing Larry is an avid long distance road cyclist and aspiring chef.
Jason received a degree in Communications from Boston University in 1991 before moving to Steamboat Springs in pursuit of bottomless powder skiing. His first jobs in Ski Town USA were portrait photographer at the Steamboat Ski Area and graphic designer/production artist at the Steamboat Pilot & Today newspaper. It was at the newspaper that Jason was introduced to the internet, and in 1996 developed the very first website for the Steamboat Pilot & Today. In 1998 Jason left the Pilot to pursue an independent career in web design and development. After several years building and managing websites for Steamboat's most prominent real estate, lodging, recreation, and manufacturing companies, Jason was offered a position on the Mountain Resorts marketing team as Internet Marketing Manager. As Resort Group grew Jason was invited to manage the internet marketing efforts of all Resort Group companies as Director of Internet Marketing.
Jason's passion as a user experience designer, web developer, and photographer are a perfect fit for overseeing the internet marketing for Resort Group. He works closely with Larry Mashaw, VP of Marketing, creating campaigns that drive traffic to Resort Group websites and ultimately close sales. In only a few years the proprietary online booking engine Jason developed has become the most profitable sales channel for Resort Group vacation rentals. Jason has built additional web based tools for Resort Group, such as a lead manager and quote tool that allows sales associates to generate quotes and respond to leads with real time availability and rates.
Jason considers himself lucky to have a career that involves his passions and looks forward to new challenges every day.
